As a first time mom the word neurotic does a pretty good job at describing me, so when a trustworthy family friend told me about Flo as a baby Nurse, I couldn't call her fast enough. The interview went famously--I truly felt like I already knew Flo and quickly felt comfortable. To my dismay Flo would not do 24 hour work and we had to accept the fact that Flo could only be our night nurse when our 24 hour nurse was off and then when she left. Flo sent me a list of items she recommends for the baby and the rest was history. Flo immediately felt like family. Her warm demeanor made everything so easy at a time in our lives that was far from easy. Flo is a breeze to talk to, has great advice to give and is also a good listener- it has always been a pleasure to have her in our home. I love watching Flo with our son- she talks to him, sings to him, makes animal noises, talks about the trees outside and really engages with him in an effort to teach him and keep him entertained- I truly couldn't ask for more. In looking for a nanny for the next phase I even asked Flo, do you know someone like you who wants to be a full time nanny?! I consider us very lucky to have Flo in our lives and to be fortunate enough for her to help us care for our little prince. It's amazing to work with someone that makes everything so easy for you. I’m so thankful that Flo became part of our lives. Coming home from a stressful birth and painful C-Section, Flo immediately met us at our house which is where we met her for the first time as our night nurse. I immediately found Flo to be so warm, gentle, helpful and calm. I could tell immediately when she picked up my daughter that she had the perfect temperament for my family. I was so mixed about having any help as I didn’t think I’d be comfortable with anyone staying in our home especially when we have a new baby but my family convinced me I needed some help. And they were right. Flo immediately began to unpack all my clothes from the hospital and wash everything. She then went immediately into the baby’s room and started organizing the changing table (which was not set up because I gave birth early) and put everything in the easiest, most logical and convenient order. She taught me how to sterilize the bottles, warm milk, put on a diaper, wash my baby…all things that seem so basic but that a first time mom doesn’t always know. Flo quickly became my sounding board for all my baby questions including sleep training.

Three months later I was returning to work and finding a nanny turned out to be more stressful and time consuming than I had realized. I was working with several nanny agencies but they all seemed to just send lots of people without really screening them first (other than a background check), leaving all the sorting to me. I was so overwhelmed as I had to return to work in 2 weeks. In a panic, I naturally called Flo since she was so terrific with my daughter. Within days Flo sent me the most wonderful nanny who we hired on the spot. Flo wasn’t just sending lots of people to us so that it looked like she was working hard. It was obvious that Flo did all the hard work behind the scenes and only sent to us someone who she really thought we would be the perfect fit for our family. Flo is our angel. She turned a very stressful experience into a wonderful, trusting experience. Flo is the only person I trust when it comes to night nurse services, nanny services and most recently babysitting services. Thank you Flo! I can’t thank you enough for introducing us to our wonderful nanny and being a part of our lives!

Hiring Flo was the best decision we ever made following the births of our second and third babies. Remembering the exhaustion and sleepless nights from our oldest, we were so worried about having enough energy for our older children. Flo not only kept us well rested, but also provided an amazing source of support. She immediately bonded with all three of our children. Although each baby was so different, she seamlessly adapted to managing their individual needs. I remember worrying that having a night nurse would feel intrusive, but that was not the case at all. We truly looked forward to seeing Flo every day not only because she allowed us to rest and spend some quality time with our older children, but also because she truly cared about our family. She was there for us as much or as little as we needed, whether we wanted to hand her the baby and disappear, or needed advice, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to talk to. Flo's positive personality is contagious, she brightens any room that she enters. Diana worked with our family from December 2019 through May 2020. We felt so lucky to have
had her helping us out during that stressful time! She was so loving and tender with my baby.
She would hold him, rock him, sing to him, and speak to him in such a gentle way and I know
she has real affection for him. In addition to be such a caring individual, Diana was extremely
respectful of our personal living habits and our space. She always arrived on time and would
stay late when we asked. She is an extremely hard worker and is very responsible. She takes her
job responsibilities seriously and never once called off of work. Since I was a first-time mom,
she taught me how to bathe my son and showed me other things that I asked her to do but she
was NOT pushy at all! She continues to ask how my son is doing and checks in on all of us even
though she is sadly no longer helping us out. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Diana
and anyone who works with her would be lucky to have her!

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Dianna Mohammed for a baby nurse position. Diana worked for
my husband and I for 5 weeks from September 2019- October 2019 for our first born son, Levi. She
began taking care of my son the day we came home from the hospital. We are blessed to have had her
with us. She is extremely kind, patient, hard working and knowledgeable. As a first time mom, everything
was extremely scary for me, but Diana was there to help guide me and teach me. She took care of Levi
with gentleness and kindness, just like any relative would. She loved Levi as though he were her
own, and for that we are forever grateful. In addition, she remains calm in stressful situations and in my
opinion, is an expert in newborn care.

We miss her tremendously; she helped us through the difficult first few weeks for us as new parents. My
husband and I would recommend her for any baby nurse position without hesitation.

I am so happy to be able to recommend Michelle Bryan. I contacted Gentle Care Nannies right before my second baby was born in January 2020. Michelle came over for a face to face interview, and I immediately knew Michelle was the perfect fit for our family. She was friendly, warm and nurturing. My husband and I decided to hire her for 6 weeks. 

Each night Michelle arrived she would begin work right away. She would make sure I was hydrated, answer any questions that I had, and assist me with breastfeeding. She would recommend any products and techniques that would make my life easier and my son happier. 

She was absolutely amazing with my son, and my older daughter also adored her. 

Michelle restored my self-confidence once again as a new mom for the 2nd time. I was able to rest and reset with a clear head when Michelle was with the baby.

Nicole helped us with our 6 month old son while our nanny was away. We were anxious because we love our nanny, but Nicole was wonderful! Michelle worked with our family from December 2019 through February 2020. She worked during the nights and a few days each week. She was a very trustworthy person and respectful of our family.
